About A ThreadGarden
We’re learning not to make plans anymore because you just never know what is going to happen next!
Just happened: our move to NewburyPark!
BeadTime, our sister store, had been in business going on twelve years when a couple of long time customers approached us requesting that we consider opening a needlework shop. Our town had been without such a resource for about two years since the retirement of the last needlework store owner.
Both Billie and I have enjoyed needlearts since childhood so it was a natural that we would say yes to this challenge. It has been about 10 years since we made the decision to open A ThreadGarden and we are well stocked with many threads, charts, accessories and painted canvas.
Please let us know your needs and desires. We are happy to order what you need and we want to know your favorite products so we can have them on hand!
Michele’ and Billie
Goings On...
Come in and stitch with us! We have two great tables available most of the time. Though stitching tends to be a solitary hobby, you can bring a friend and start a new habit. Stitch a little here and there and you’ll stitch a lot. Give yourself the gift of time to enjoy your stitching in the company of others.
Don’t forget to check the class calendar to see what is being offered. We’ll happily schedule a class off-calendar for a small group.
Let us know if you would like to reserve a regular time to meet with your friends, plan a party, or simply an occasional get-together with your stitching pals. We’ll put on a pot of tea and you can bring special goodies.
We are always in the process of planning trunkshows. If you have a favorite designer you would like to see at A ThreadGarden, please let us know right away.
If you would like to join our mailing list for the latest information on classes, products, projects, and events; please click below to be taken to our form.
Michele’ opened BeadTime in Ventura, CA in 1994. BeadTime is known for superior selection and great quality beads and findings. The addition of A ThreadGarden began in early 2007 and actually opened in March, 2008.
The latest news is we’ve moved-again! In desperate need of more space we just couldn’t find in Ventura, we took a leap of faith and moved to Camarillo.
