My favorite season of the year!

The kids are back in school, the weather is beautiful,

and the evenings are perfect for stitching!

It’s always more fun to stitch with a friend!

Do you remember when, (seems like long ago)

things were made to be as beautiful as they

were functional? It’s a shame that we only

see most of these beautiful things in museums.

Perhaps this is why we love to stitch.

We have the opportunity to create beautiful,

often functional, items. Stitching soothes our

souls, gives joy to those who view it and who

receive the gift you created, and becomes a

cherished keepsake long after we have left this

world behind. The next time you see a piece of

art that just happens to be functional, pause

to remember the person who cared enough to

create this thing of beauty.

Judy Whitman is well known for her French Country designs - ordinary items become fascinating works of art when created with many tiny icons. Great fun to stitch in an overdye (even over one)

for ornaments, door hangers, fobs, and the like. Recently, Judy has added several samplers to her line. We love the whimsical and feminine nature of these new samplers - Michele’ has stitched two,

the Rabbit Alphabet and the Pumpkin Alphabet. Judy sent us the Alphabet Hearts Sampler which is stitched on striped fabric - very Frenchy.... very, very feminine!

As always, trunkshow charts will be discounted 15%
