Laurel Burch Canvas

Yes! The goodies continue to arrive almost daily:
New canvas in from Annie, Cheryl Schaeffer, Danji Designs. MAP Designs, and
Whimsy and Grace.
The latest overdyed threads from Threadworx have just come in - there are 20
new colors of Soie d’alger, and Vineyard Silks in the collection! In addition,
several new overdyed Kreinik metallics have been added to the collection!
Thirty, yes 30, new colors of Vineyard’s Merino wool have arrived along with
about a dozen new silk colors.
The new hologram metallics from Kreinik have been a big hit - we’ve finally
received our backordered threads.
We’ve added two silks - Soie Perlee and Soie de Paris, as well as DMC Floche to
our thread lines.
Just in time for our Laurel Burch Techniques Workshop with Jill Rigoli
Danji Designs distributes Laurel Burch designs painted for needlepoint. Jill has developed many techniques that bring out the unique features of Laurel Burch’s artistry. We have a selection of canvas or you can order in advance if there is a particular design that strikes your fancy! Enrollment is limited in this two day class!
Saturday and Sunday, May 15 and 16, 10am-4pm
Class fee $150. includes lunch both days.
We have scheduled a fabulous array of canvas trunkshows for the the coming year!
Whimsy and Grace will be sending us several mini trunkshows over the course of the year. Each show is focused on a portion of their line. We’ll have everything from bookmarks and napkin rings to totes and purses.

Jill Rigoli was the founder of Danji Designs. Now run by Jill’s daughter Rachel, Danji is the exclusive licensee of Laurel Burch designs in Needlepoint.
Jill is passionate about the artwork of Laurel Burch and felt it would be a perfect match for needlepointers. She has developed a great class to teach the details unique to the look of Laurel Burch’s artwork.

One to One - Susan Portra
If you are a needlepoint fanatic you have, no doubt, heard of Susan Portra. All her students say she is quite simply the best! Imagine what it would be like to have a mentor to work with you on a canvas - to teach you how to choose what stitch to do, threads to use, and color to select.
Susan is scheduled to teach at A ThreadGarden in May, July and September this year!

Susan’s One to One format allows you to focus on a canvas without interruption. You’ll come away with a solid plan for stitching your canvas. Susan doesn’t just assign threads and stitches, she teaches you how to approach your canvas as never before. You’re not just learning stitches and following instructions, you’ll go way beyond that to a level of understanding that will increase your confidence and knowledge of needlepoint many times over!
