My favorite season of the year!
The kids are back in school, the weather is beautiful,
and the evenings are perfect for stitching!
It’s always more fun to stitch with a friend!
Do you remember when, (seems like long ago) things were made to be as beautiful as they were functional? It’s a shame that we only see most of these beautiful things in museums. Perhaps this is why we love to stitch. We have the opportunity to create beautiful, often functional, items. Stitching soothes our souls, gives joy to those who view it and who receive the gift you created, and becomes a cherished keepsake long after we have left this world behind. The next time you see a piece of art that just happens to be functional, pause to remember the person who cared enough to create this thing of beauty.

It’s always fun to start a new seasonal item during the season it celebrates. - makes the holiday last longer to be stitching it before, during, and after the event. We have great seasonal Halloween and Christmas canvas up the wazoooooo and it’s your chance to purchase them on sale!
Our Needlepoint Fall Sale will be held
Friday and Saturday Sept 20 - 21.
Canvas may be cut or taped after hours
during the sale, and held for pick up.

Finishing Deadlines - Our finishers have set the deadlines for Christmas finishing and they are coming up fast! Christmas stocking and other large gift items need to be submitted by October 1st. Ornaments, mini socks and smaller gift items by October 15th.

Stitching Opportunities - In addition to our regular ‘Open Table’ (weekday stitching at any time) we’ve set up several additional Opportunities for stitching with others. The schedule can be found here!

Jill’s Creative Canvas Classes will be
moved to the 1st Tuesday in October.
Sherry’s classes are 1st Saturdays
